  • The Carriage Rules wre developed during the time of regulation and commercial travel. Given deregulation it may be time o have the FTA and the FAA remove this last vestage of regulation that puts consumers at a disadvantage and let ordinary law take its place.

  • Given the fact they have contracts, I would suggest that each contract be reviewed by the appropriate governement agency to ensure that the conditions were met before the funds are allowed to be spent. I believe the right agency would be the treasury.

  • Being the fact they have contracts, maybe before these payouts are given.  Each contract should now be reviewed by an appropriate governemtn legal agency.  Say open a department in the Treasury that's charged with monitoring the bailout.  Given they are a little short handed right now …
